Customer Reviews
two handled version
Having read the reviews on the other designs I chose the tiger even though its a couple of pounds more because I saw from the photo that this one has two tradition suitcase handles as well as the shoulder/tow strap.
The case is fantastic we took it to Spain for Easter and my 2 almost 3 year old absolutely loved it. He was able to take everything for the journey and toys for the holiday and found riding on it brilliant fun. Having unpacked today I can't wait for an excuse to use it again!
Kids loved it!
This Trunki was a great hit with both kids, one 3 and one 1. The 3 year old loved riding it round the airport and the little one liked to push it round. They were both very happy to have their own suitcase to fill with toys and stuff.
I chose this particular model, not just for it's cool looks, but the double handles prevents the lopsided issue some people reported on reviews of other models.
Pros outweigh the cons
The trunki is great for that point when your child is almost big enough not to need a buggy, but not quite. We substituted our childs buggy for this trunki, knowing that the most walking we would need to do would be in the airports. It's great, he loves it. After one use it seems well made and stable...not great at cornering unless you're on a very smooth surface (which airports tend to be). The only con I'd say there is, is that to open it you need to undo 2 catches which operate in opposite directions, making it very awkward even when you're not on a plane with limited space. My wife also pointed out that it's missing somewhere for the feet to rest...can I suggest to the makers of trunki they add in some pegs that stick out somewhere near the rear wheels? Otherwise, it's pretty good.
